Dazzling flower of Ashoka

Hi everyone, welcome to my next blog, where I would like to share regarding the most prettiest flower I have come across.

One day I was walking along my path, I came across this flower. I initially thought of it as Ixora coccinea as it resembled the plant. But it differs from the plant of Ixora coccinea in many ways, then I started searching to identify the name of the plant. I found out that the plant name is Saraca asoca.

It is commonly known as  Sita Ashok and Sorrowless tree. It belongs to the legume family whereas  I.coccinea belongs to the rubiaceae family. It is an evergreen perennial plant that grows upto 25-30 feet in high. A species of rain-forest tree native to Asia and South America, it is endangered in Western Ghats, India.

Some Indians believe that this plant has religious significance and worship it. Another belief is that this plant  decreases sorrow, so  it is called sorrowless tree. The plant is also known as the  friend of women because it is used for managing menorrhagia and other problems associated with female reproduction. It also has  some other  medicinal properties like analgesic and antidotal.

Fascinating the children in online class

Welcome to my next blog, the pivotal thing which we are finding it hard now-a-days.

In the aeon of online classes, we are feeling difficult to attract children. We may have so many queries..😕😕

  • How do make them interested in a class?
  • How to be interactive with them?
It's a big deal for every teacher, isn't it?

Yeah, there's an idea for it. The classes should be start up with common talks for 5-10 minutes apart from the content. But the talks should give a clear idea about the content, what they are going to listen. The ideas given to them should dream up the day's content.

We should get the topic to the students and after getting the content topic from them, we have to ask questions that should blend them curious to listen to the classes. During the classes, the content given to them should be related to their day-to-day life.

The classes should end up with practical thoughts that incorporate them into the content. These are the simple tricks to deal with the students in online classes.

Cassowary - A Last Surviving Dinosaur

Welcome to my next blog, I am astonished to share about Cassowary bird.

Have you all heard about Cassowary ?

           Is it new to you?

Yeah, its also new to me. I have gone through it once I scrolled the youtube. I thought of it as an Ostrich but its very strange to me.

Cassowary is a large, flightless bird which is native to New Guinea and Australia. Only 3 species are alive today. It is notoriously aggressive bird. It lives mostly in wetlands. Cassowary has black feathers that covered the whole body except head and neck. The neck is bright blue in colour. Some of these species have waddles hanging from their chin which is red or orange in colour.

Cassowary has large feet with three toes, each having three claws. The kicks of this bird is quite dangerous. It loves mostly to eat fruits. It is illegal to domesticate Cassowary in some places. Cassowary is  more similar to that of dinosaur. So, it is considered to be the last surviving dinosaur.

Cassowary reproduce during may and june month. The male build the nests and the female lay eggs in it upto 3 -8 green eggs. After 50 -52 days, the eggs hatch and chicks come out. Until 9 months, chicks are defend by male Cassowary.

In the epoch of online classes, we are facing lots of issues especially in presentation without laptop. We may have so many questions... ðŸ¤”

  • How to prepare presentation in mobile?
  • How to make visual presentation using mobile?
  • What are the possible ways to insert images, videos and animation in presentation using mobile?
It's really great task for every teacher and student, isn't it?

Yeah, here's the solution for it. There are lots of app preferable for making fascinating  presentation using mobile. They are Google slides, Microsoft power point, WBS office, MS office, Presentation creator, Zoho show app, Office presentation, etc.,.

Google slides are the most primitive presentation tool. It can be used to prepare simple presentation. Microsoft power point and MS office are the two advanced powerful tool where we create visual presentations with animations and videos. We may also draw our own designs in Microsoft power point.

Apart from this, there are some websites like slides go, slide gala, slide geeks, etc., which can be used to prepare ppt templates. Slide bean which is one of the website where you insert gif images for you presentation.

There's not a great difference among mobile and laptop view. The letters on the slide seems to be same in both. So, need not worry about preparing or presenting your presentation in mobile. Create your own presentation using mobile and present it in attractive ways.
